The Zherong County Meteorological Observatory issued a blue typhoon warning signal at 05:54 on July 7, 2025: Typhoon Danas, the 4th typhoon of this year, has a center located about 235 kilometers south southeast of the Zhejiang Fujian border at 5 o clock. The maximum wind speed near the center is 12 levels (33 meters per second, typhoon level). It is expected that Danas will move towards the northeast at a speed of 15-20 kilometers per hour, gradually weakening in intensity. Affected by it, it is expected that the wind speed in towns such as Shuangcheng, Huangbai, Fuxi, and Dongyuan in our county will reach 6-7 levels with gusts of 8-9 levels in the next 24 hours. Please take precautions!

Guidelines

1. The government and relevant departments shall make preparations for typhoon prevention in accordance with their duties;

2. Stop outdoor group activities and high-altitude outdoor dangerous operations;

3. Water operations in relevant waters and passing ships take active countermeasures, such as returning to the port to avoid wind or sailing in a detour, etc.;

4. Reinforce doors and windows, enclosures, scaffolds, billboards and other structures that are easily blown by the wind, and cut off dangerous outdoor power sources.
