Quanzhou Meteorological Observatory issues blue typhoon warning signal

At 21:47 on July 6, 2025, Quanzhou Meteorological Observatory continued to issue a typhoon blue warning signal: Typhoon Danas, the fourth typhoon of this year, was located on the sea surface about 80 kilometers northwest of Kaohsiung City, Taiwan at 21:00 today. The maximum wind speed near the center was 14 levels (45 meters per second, strong typhoon level). It is expected that Danas will move towards the northeast at a speed of 20-25 kilometers per hour, gradually weakening in intensity. Affected by it, gusts of 8-10 levels can occur in some coastal towns (streets) of our city from tonight until the morning of the 7th. Please take precautions!

Description

Within 24 hours may be or has been affected by a tropical cyclone, coastal or land average wind force is 6 or more, or gust can reach 8 or more and may persist.

Guidelines

1. The government and relevant departments shall make preparations for typhoon prevention in accordance with their duties;

2. Stop outdoor group activities and high-altitude outdoor dangerous operations;

3. Water operations in relevant waters and passing ships take active countermeasures, such as returning to the port to avoid wind or sailing in a detour, etc.;

4. Reinforce doors and windows, enclosures, scaffolds, billboards and other structures that are easily blown by the wind, and cut off dangerous outdoor power sources.
