At 11:30 on July 7, 2025, the meteorological observatory of Longyang District issued a yellow rainstorm warning signal: 17.7mm precipitation has occurred in Xiyi Wuma in the past hour, and it is estimated that Xiyi, Bingma, Yongsheng, Banqiao, Shuizhai, Wadu, Xinjie, Hanzhuang, Puyao, Lujiang, Wayao and other towns (streets) will be affected by the rainstorm in the next six hours. Please take precautions against waterlogging, mountain torrents and geological disasters.

Description

Rainfall will reach more than 50 mm within 6 hours, or it has reached more than 50 mm and the rainfall may continue.

Guidelines

1. The government and relevant departments shall do a good job in preventing rainstorms in accordance with their duties;

2. The traffic management department shall adopt traffic control measures on heavy rainfall road sections according to road conditions, and implement traffic guidance on road sections with stagnant water;

3. Cut off dangerous outdoor power supplies in low-lying areas, suspend outdoor operations in open areas, and transfer people in dangerous areas and residents of dangerous houses to safe places to avoid rain;

4. Check the drainage system of cities, farmlands, and fish ponds, and take necessary drainage measures.

At 18:10 on July 6, 2025, the Natural Resources Bureau and the Meteorological Bureau of Longyang District jointly issued a Level II geological disaster meteorological risk warning: it is expected that in the next 24 hours, the meteorological risk level of geological disasters in Hanzhuang, Wama, Yongchang, and Wadu in our district will be Level I (very high risk), and the meteorological risk level of geological disasters in other towns (streets) will be Level II (high risk), which is prone to geological disasters such as landslides, mudslides, and collapses. Relevant units and personnel are requested to take preventive measures.
