Xi an Meteorological Observatory continues to issue a yellow warning for high temperatures

At 10:38 am on July 5, 2025, the Xi an Meteorological Observatory downgraded and issued a yellow warning signal for high temperatures: it is expected that the daily maximum temperature in most streets (towns) in Xincheng District, Beilin District, Lianhu District, Yanta District, Baqiao District, Weiyang District, Yanliang District, Lintong District, northern Chang an District, Gaoling District, northern Huyi District, northern Zhouzhi County, northern Lantian County, and Xixian New Area will rise to over 35 ℃ for three consecutive days, and locally can reach 37 ℃. Please take precautions.

Description

The daily maximum temperature will be above 35°C for three consecutive days.

Guidelines

1. Relevant departments and units shall make preparations for heatstroke prevention and cooling in accordance with their duties;

2. Minimize outdoor activities in the afternoon;

3. Provide heatstroke prevention and cooling guidance for the elderly, the weak, the sick, and the young;

4. Those who work under high temperature conditions and need to do outdoor work for a long time during the day should take necessary protective measures.
